Hans Voss

Director, Projects and Initiatives

Hans joined Texas 2036 as Project Coordinator in 2020. In this role, he works across the organization’s workstreams to facilitate project planning, tracking, management, and execution. He also manages and supports specific education & workforce projects at Texas 2036, including the Aim Hire Texas consortium, the Enhanced Jobs and Employment Data Pilot, and the Community College Finance Simulator Tool. He came to Texas 2036 after eight years with Achieve, a national education policy and research nonprofit that was based in Washington, D.C. At Achieve, Hans provided management for a network of state-based education advocacy coalitions and research projects such as interactive data tools, and reports focused on college and career readiness issues. Hans earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University and a Master of Public Administration degree from American University in Washington, D.C. He lives in Garland, Texas with his wife, a kindergarten teacher, and their infant son.
