Heather Zrubek

Manager, Development Services

A native Texan raised in Dallas, Heather Zrubek is a graduate of SMU’s Cox School of Business and received her masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Arlington. Heather comes to Texas 2036 from National Association of Episcopal Schools, where she was coordinator of member services & events and worked closely with database operations, program management, and the advancement program. Her professional experience also includes development at St. Mark’s School of Texas, city planning and historic preservation planning in the City of Frisco, event production, and business operations.

Heather has served in volunteer board and committee roles with the Junior League, Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, City of Richardson, and Episcopal Church Women. Heather loves volunteering, traveling, active pursuits, the arts, nature, spending time with family and friends, and spiritual life. She is married to Will Forteith and has one daughter, Elise, who is 11 years old.
