Texas Water Day at the Capitol is back: Join us
On Monday, Feb. 27, Texas 2036 is proud to be a sponsor of Texas Water Day at the Capitol. The biennial event invites water professionals from throughout the state to share educational resources with legislators and their staff. This year’s focus includes the importance of water security, state water infrastructure needs and more.
Texas 2036 Senior Policy Advisor Jeremy Mazur will be joining the Water Infrastructure Funding panel at 4 p.m. to discuss the need to address Texas’ aging and deteriorating water and wastewater systems. Other panelists include representatives from:
- Texas Department of Agriculture
- U.S. Department of Agriculture
- Water Finance Exchange
- Texas Water Development Board
- Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
