For over 190 years, Texas has been a special place.
Today, millions will head to work across our state. Children will fill our classrooms. Businesses will open their doors. More than a thousand new Texans will take their first breath.
This is our home. Our shared future. Happy Birthday, Texas!

10 years ago, Founder Tom Luce asked a question
Tom believed Texas’ future should never be left to chance. He wanted the next generation to have the same or better opportunities than he had.
And he knew data and discipline would lead the way.
That belief became Texas 2036. Over the last decade, we’ve successfully worked with partners and policymakers across the state to advance long-term policies that will benefit our state.
