Focus

Marisa joined Texas 2036 in November 2024 with over 10 years of development experience with non-profit organizations both locally and nationally.

Prior Work Experience

She has served on fundraising teams for organizations with missions that are close to her heart, including the Alzheimer’s Association, the Houston Food Bank, and, most recently, New Leaders.  A native Texan, Marisa was born and raised in Corpus Christi until she pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and moved to Houston to jump start her career.   Now Marisa, her husband, and their three young daughters call Sugar Land home.  They enjoy visiting parks and museums, cheering on their favorite sports teams (Go Irish!), and catching some of the many concerts, Broadway musicals, and performances that Houston has to offer.
