Louisa joined Texas 2036 in 2024 to support President and CEO David Leebron. A born and raised Texan, she majored in political science at Southwestern University and earned a Master’s in Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.

In addition to her experience on political campaigns in Texas, she was the Newsletters Editor and Advocacy Associate at the Project on Middle East Democracy (now the Middle East Democracy Center) and the Managing Editor for Project Fikra at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
