Senate Finance Committee: TX2036 testimony schedule

Texas 2036 will release a testimony schedule at their earliest convenience on when and where the policy team will speak during the 88th Legislature.

Texas 2036 will appear before the Senate Committee on Finance this week to testify on education and workforce, and justice and safety.

Here’s our testimony schedule for the week of Feb. 6-10.

Monday, Feb. 6

Senior Policy Advisor Mary Lynn Pruneda appeared before the Senate Committee on Finance to offer oral testimony on budget provisions related to public education.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

Policy Advisor Renzo Soto appeared before the Senate Committee on Finance to offer oral testimony on support for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s items on data security modernization and collaboration.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Policy Advisor Renzo Soto appeared before the Senate Committee on Finance to offer oral testimony on funding community college finance reform.

Thursday, Feb. 9

Policy Advisor Luis Soberon will appear before the Senate Committee on Finance to offer oral testimony on improving data, staffing and infrastructure for the agencies responsible for overseeing law enforcement, county jails and state prisons.
