It would be hard to imagine anyone in Dallas making more of an impact on the city than Tom Luce, his colleagues say.
The lifelong champion of education and mental health was recognized Wednesday for his civic and humanitarian work in the city at the 89th annual Linz Award ceremony at the Omni Dallas Hotel.
“Tom had a brilliant legal career, of course, but what’s amazing and shocking is it pales in comparison to his subsequent civic contributions and accomplishments,” said Dave Scullin, president and CEO of Communities Foundation of Texas. “Tom is truly a renaissance man — he reinvented what a career is.”
