Last year, Texas 2036 partnered with the Texas Tribune’s annual Tribune Festival to launch our new website, announce our statewide board, and introduce ourselves to thousands of Texans who appreciate smart conversations about Texas’ present and its future.
We worked with the Tribune to host a series of panel discussions on Congress in Austin, practically in the shadow of the Texas Capitol. Key thought leaders and decision-makers offered provocative perspectives on a wide range of burning issues over the three days of TribFest 2019. For a data-driven organization like ours that’s focused on Texas’ future, it really was a festival.
This year, to align with the new month-long virtual format of #TribFest20, we partnered again with the Texas Tribune to launch a series of FAST FACTS videos. Each one seeks to provide sourced, factual information across 15 important topic areas:
