Emily has been a policy advisor working on both health care and infrastructure policy at Texas 2036 since 2022. In 2023, she worked on health care accessibility and housing issues. Going into 2025, she will be working on solutions to increase the uninsured population in Texas and promoting housing affordability.
Prior Work Experience
Emily comes to Texas 2036 from the Health and Human Services Commission where she worked on regulatory issues in long term care, childcare and acute health care settings for the Government and Stakeholder Relations team. Prior to HHSC, she worked as a policy analyst in Sen. Larry Taylor’s office.
