Kim Roberts supports Texas 2036’s day-to-day operations, helping create an organized, collaborative and welcoming workplace for the organization’s growing team. Drawing on extensive experience in event planning, administration and operations, she coordinates office initiatives and events while supporting the systems and logistics that keep the organization running smoothly.

Prior Work Experience

Kim brings nearly two decades of experience in event management, operations and administrative coordination across the corporate, academic and nonprofit sectors in both the United States and Canada.
Before joining Texas 2036, Kim served as Program Events Coordinator in the Department of Molecular Biosciences at The University of Texas at Austin, where she managed a portfolio of more than 30 academic and research-focused events, including faculty recruitment visits, seminar series and departmental programs.
Previously, Kim spent several years in Toronto’s legal and professional services sector, most notably with Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where she rose to Manager of Events & Sponsorships. In that role, she led client-facing events, sponsorships and firm initiatives in partnership with senior leadership.
Her earlier experience includes event and marketing roles with Stikeman Elliott LLP, Women of Influence and Xerox Canada, where she produced a variety of business development, networking and large-scale national events.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University in Ontario, Canada. When she is not working, you can find her reading, crafting, working out or enjoying every moment with her husband and three kids.
