Since graduating from college in 2015, Chris has been a passionate advocate for students and education issues. He served for two years as a middle school English and Special Education teacher in New Orleans with Teach for America. During his time in the classroom, Chris saw firsthand the power of education in transforming children’s lives and aspirations. In 2017, Chris joined the Commit Partnership in Dallas, Texas, as a data analyst, where he worked to use data to address systemic challenges in the city’s education system. Chris is a Dallas native and a graduate of Pomona College and the Relay Graduate School of Education. He lives in Dallas, where he enjoys playing tennis and discovering great Tex-Mex restaurants.
