Lily joined Texas 2036 from the Legislative Budget Board, where she worked as an analyst. While there she developed a cohesive design aesthetic, launched an infographics program, and produced summary documents for House and Senate committees, agency review, and the public. Originally from Seattle, Lily moved to Texas to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Enamored by the disarming friendliness and abundant sunshine, she vowed a lifelong commitment to Texas. After working in the music industry and in advertising, Lily completed a Master’s degree in Global Finance Trade and Economic Integration from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Her varied skillset and strong background in quantitative analysis nourish a unique perspective on ways to package complex information. Lily currently resides in south Austin with her husband and when not working, you can find her enjoying casual outdoor adventures, like chasing shade and/or swimming holes.
