Emily Love comes to Texas 2036 from the Texas House of Representatives, where she served as the Administrative Director and Legislative Aide for Chairman DeWayne Burns. Prior to her tenure at the Texas Capitol, Emily worked in the Office of the President during her undergraduate career at Tarleton State University. She graduated with honors from Tarleton State University where she was able to volunteer her time in a myriad of ways. During her undergraduate studies, she served as the Student Body Vice President, a member of the Texas A&M University System’s Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council, the Vice President of the Presidential Ambassadors, and served as the 2021 Lady Tarleton. Originally from Houston, she enjoys visiting her triplet sisters back home to spend time with her niece and nephew. Emily is passionate about volunteering with children through her membership in the Austin Junior Forum. She is also an avid outdoors enthusiast and loves to hike and travel in her free time.
