Emily Love comes to Texas 2036 from the Texas House of Representatives, where she served as the Administrative Director and Legislative Aide for Chairman DeWayne Burns. Prior to her tenure at the Texas Capitol, Emily worked in the Office of the President during her undergraduate career at Tarleton State University. She graduated with honors from Tarleton State University where she was able to volunteer her time in a myriad of ways.
During her undergraduate studies, Emily served as the Student Body Vice President, a member of the Texas A&M University System’s Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council, the Vice President of the Presidential Ambassadors, and served as the 2021 Lady Tarleton. She enjoys visiting her alma mater frequently where she serves on the Board of Directors for the Tarleton Alumni Association as the youngest member to ever be elected to the board.
Originally from Houston, Emily enjoys visiting her triplet sisters to spend time with her niece and nephew. She is passionate about volunteering with children through her membership in the Austin Junior Forum, is an avid outdoors enthusiast, and loves to hunt, hike, and travel in her free time.
